Arthur Dobson, guardian of young Bobby Hargis, will inherit the boy's large ranch if Bobby dies, so he hires foreman Kirby Lawson to arrange a fatal 'accident'; Lawson frightens the horses at a flooded bridge and sends Bobby into the raging river, but Cisco rescues the boy, defeats Lawson, and sends both conspirators to jail while Bobby remains on the ranch with the Robertsons.
