The Young Man with the Cream Tarts

A penniless young man giving away cream tarts is drawn into London's secret Suicide Club, where desperate members gamble with cards to decide who must die and who must carry out the killing. Prince Florizel, attending in disguise, arranges a raid after the young man draws the ace of spades, rescues the members and offers them help, only to learn that the club's president has taken poison rather than face judgment.
