A documentary-style dramatization of Edward Stettinius Jr.'s Lend-Lease: Weapon for Victory explains the program through analogies, historical narration and scenes from Allied fronts. It traces the shift from American hesitation to becoming the 'arsenal of democracy,' then depicts tanks, food, aircraft and other supplies reaching Britain and other Allies while reverse lend-lease also supports American forces overseas. Stettinius appears at the end to argue that pooling production, resources and military strength among the United Nations was essential to stopping Axis expansion and winning the war.
