Betty’s shifting Christmas wishes send Mel back to the department store again and again to exchange earrings, a compact, a bracelet and other gifts. When the store demands approval from several earlier customers, Mel tries to impersonate them all at once, only to be exposed just as Betty changes her mind yet again.
