3 Farthings for Your Thoughts
About This Broadcast
Harry joins Helen Barrett in a hunt for the £20,000 stolen by her imprisoned husband Bill. Bill has hidden the clue in three farthings and a letter referring to Beethoven; a maid and Bill's former partner Baxter are after the same money. After Bill is killed and Baxter corners Harry and Helen, Harry overpowers him and realizes the final clue points to Beethoven's 'Fury Over a Lost Farthing' among Bill's music records, where the money is hidden. The police arrive before Harry can profit, and his false pose as a bank-insurance investigator gets him deported instead.
