Crooked attorney Sturgis repeatedly keeps racketeer Moroni beyond the reach of the law by manufacturing alibis and manipulating evidence. The Green Hornet turns the criminals' own murder weapon and distrust against them, forcing Sturgis into an incriminating confrontation with Moroni and Jigger that police overhear, ending the lawyer's career as an officer of the court and exposing him as an accessory to their crimes.
