Promising pitcher Frank Dennon's sudden losing streak makes it look as if he has sold out to gamblers. Britt discovers that Louis Gordon's ring has been coercing Dennon through Phyllis Waring's indebted brother and then trying to frame the pitcher; as the Green Hornet he turns a showdown with Gordon and Ziggy Fagan into the evidence needed to break the gambling operation and clear Dennon.
