Waxy Lucas uses his taxi-dance hall as the center of a marijuana distribution racket, and undercover investigator Betty Jennings is killed after getting too close to the operation. The Green Hornet forces evidence into the open and brings pressure on the peddlers until they identify Lucas and his confederates as the people behind both the drug traffic and Jennings's murder.
