Grand-jury investigator James Conway is ready to expose a protected gambling ring when the mob kidnaps his daughter Paula and demands his evidence. The Hornet poses as one of the abductors, follows the trail to Dick Sloughkin's Seven-Eleven club, prevents the gang's plan to kill father and daughter in a staged bridge accident, and helps Conway bring trusted police in on a raid that recovers Paula and the evidence.
