Cisco arrives in lawless Goldfield as the territorial marshal charged with cleaning up the town, while a huge drifter named Arleigh becomes entangled in the crackdown because his mother believes he is the marshal; after Arleigh proves he is not a killer, Cisco shows mercy and sends him home to make good on her faith in him.
