Smooth bank robber Randolph Meeker poses as a harmless writer, arranges a stage robbery in which the driver and guard are killed, and frames Cisco and Pancho for the crime to keep the law occupied while his partners move against the Silver City bank, but Cisco recognizes the setup and turns Meeker's elaborate trap back on the gang.
