The Shipboard Jewel Robbery
About This Broadcast
Working as a steward aboard a luxury liner, Rocky gets caught in the theft of Lady Harkness’s jewels and is framed for the murder of ship’s doctor Harper. The jewels had been mixed into the plaster cast on Rocky’s injured arm so they could pass through a shipwide search, but the doctor’s plan to X-ray the cast threatened to expose them. Rocky identifies nurse Helen and her partner Larry as the thieves, with Helen also responsible for killing Harper, and the captain overhears enough of her confession to clear Rocky and recover the jewels.
