Murder Among the Statues
About This Broadcast
Rocky’s handyman job in a bargain statuary shop turns deadly when owner Oliver Bates is murdered and several people hunt for one seemingly worthless plaster figure. After kidnappings and a wild drive to a wealthy collector’s estate, the statue breaks open to reveal an ancient Aphrodite by Praxiteles hidden beneath the plaster. The payoff exposes Bates’s assistant as his killer and the collector as part of the theft-and-sale scheme.
