Melody Ranch – Lonesomest Cowboy 3

After the opening cowboy song, Gene recounts searching for a missing man whose earlier mineral research pointed to valuable deposits in the area. At a boarding house Gene is knocked unconscious, tied and blindfolded, then hauled away in a truck, but he memorizes clues from the route and later retraces them with a local official who claims to be helping. Near the hideout that official turns a gun on Gene and reveals his own part in the scheme to obtain the missing man's mineral information. Gene survives the betrayal with help from Johnny, the conspirators are subdued, and the missing man is found tied in a back room and freed.
