Judy and Randolph decide Father has been neglected and plan an entire birthday devoted to making him happy. Their good intentions cancel the most important business appointment of his year and drag him through an exhausting day at an amusement park, but the disaster unexpectedly charms Mr. Quigley, who gives Father the patent concession he had been seeking.
