Johnny Springer

After a hotelkeeper is shot, Britt and the sheriff follow the trail of a notorious fugitive to a young woman named Maria, who has been hiding a man she knows under an alias and expects to marry. The lawmen reveal that her guest is the wanted gunman, already married and accustomed to using women to help him escape. When he turns a gun on Britt and the sheriff, Maria accepts that she has been deceived and kills him with a knife. Britt later argues that her act may have saved their lives, and she appears to come through the legal aftermath safely.
