Oliver Perry returns with a woman named Carol and sends a note claiming to know the Green Hornet's identity, ordering him to a merchandise warehouse where Perry has arranged for federal agents to make the arrest. Britt anticipates the trap and works with police on a counterplan that leaves both Britt and an apparent Hornet in play at the same time; Perry's accusation collapses because no one can prove Britt is the masked man, and he is driven out of town again.
