A German saboteur is landed by submarine with orders to delay American aircraft production. His cell exploits a legal dispute over a war-housing project and plants explosives in a new water main serving an airplane factory; the Hornet penetrates the underground route, cuts the detonator wires, exposes the sabotage group and leaves their money to aid servicemen's families.
