Reporter Ed Lowry thinks he has found the love of his life in Estelle Ritter, unaware that she is working with the gang behind a bank robbery. When Lowry grows suspicious and is taken prisoner, the Hornet follows red brick dust from Estelle's clothing to a deserted brickyard, breaks up the gang, recovers the stolen money and rescues the embarrassed reporter.
