Cisco fulfills a promise to old prospector Shag Miller by leading his spoiled city-bred grandson Morgan and sister Daisy through a riddle pointing to Shag's lost gold mine; when two crooks kidnap and beat Morgan for the secret, Cisco and Pancho rescue him, locate the mine, and decide the gold should wait while Morgan proves himself by taking ranch work.
