William Ireland’S Confession

Eighteen-year-old William Ireland, desperate to earn the respect of his Shakespeare-obsessed father, begins forging antique documents and Shakespeare manuscripts. When scholars accept his increasingly audacious discoveries, he goes so far as to create a supposedly lost Shakespeare play, setting up the exposure of a notorious literary hoax.
