Shipowner Jensen's loading operation is crippled by suspicious accidents and a strike while someone demands ,000 to make the trouble stop. Although union leader Trask appears responsible, the Green Hornet discovers that Trask's aide Wolf is really working for Slickby, the supposedly neutral head of the arbitration board. The Hornet follows the river payoff and turns it into evidence that exposes Slickby's extortion scheme and clears Trask.
