When nightclub racketeer Jeff Warren discovers manager Danny Rivera has been skimming, he has Gats Norton murder Rivera while Warren creates a public alibi among civic officials. The Green Hornet reaches Warren's safe and sends Commissioner Higgins to it, while the murder gun is found in Norton's car; the combined evidence breaks Warren's protection network and ties his organization to the killing.
